I am in the process of seriously downsizing the Split-Screen Bus parts I've been collecting for the past 18 years. My hobby has changed to one of more enjoying and less bringing them back from the dead, so it's best these parts go to good use with those that need them. This particular ad is for a restorable early 1957 through 1958 only church key style Bus Decklid. It appears to originally have been grey in color so it may have come on a primer Bus. It is pretty straight and mostly solid with the exception of the bottom, bullet holes and inner frame. The outside surface is overall straight with the worst part being the area under the churchkey hole. The prop mount is in place with its original bolt as are both hinge mounts and both hinges that are complete and still in their factory installed place. Both hinge slots look to be in good shape as well. This decklid includes what is left of an old license plate from Florida which will make great wall art. The license light assembly has seen better days and I probably wouldn’t consider it restorable unless you are a real metal wiz. This decklid needs some work, but you know how difficult they are to find and it is definitely worthy of fixing and using again. I am including shipping to those in the lower 48 states in the price of these sales. This is to help expedite the transaction process for me and you. Please let me know if you are outside this area as the total will have to be adjusted accordingly. Also note that the shipping of smaller items will be basic rate through the USPS and larger items through Greyhound Bus Lines (terminal to terminal) at my quoted prices. If you want to use a different shipper, or desire additional services (ie. tracking or insurance), please specify and know they will be at the buyer’s expense. Please also note that I prefer payment through PayPal and ask those using that service to split the 4% they charge me (2% each).
