Right here is the history. My papa became a H-D "rider dealership" from 1939 until WWII started. To the very best of my knowledge he just offered two bikes, this one ... his demonstrator, and a 1940 UHS74. The bike was possessed jointly by my papa and his brother, Louis. They worked shearing sheep for a nickel a visit conserve up for it. A year approximately after purchasing the bike they purchased a passenger sidecar, and an energy sidecar. They took several long trips on it, and it was in routine use till 1955. When Dad purchased the UHS he ordered chrome wheels and swapped his for the chrome 16" front wheel, which is on the bike now. Aside from that I believe everything else to be appropriate original or appropriate replicable parts. All original paint.Dad never tossed anything away ... the crates were kept in the rafters of an old granary, an he had boxes of old H-D documents, Enthusiasts, marketing literature, etc. that he kept. Daddy kept riding it up ocasionaly to about age 70. He recently passed away at age 93. In the year 1939 the huge Black Rhino leather Deluxe Buddy Seat was an option at an extra $5.81. Note how those floorboards were extended in reverse for the comfort and security of the passenger!Has the matching traveler sidecar with windshield and cover, the original leather saddlebags, leg fairings, a full-sized bike windshield and a sport motorcycle windscreen. Still has the initial wooden crate that the motorbike was delivered in in 1939. Everything will certainly be consisted of! Worlwide delivery offered!
